CLIMBING ROSES FROM CORPORATE ROSES IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA
Climbing
roses have enjoyed great popularity over the past decades as newer
more compact varieties have emerged. There are many styles and
sizes. In fact, careful consideration should be given to the
choice of climbing roses, to ensure that the right size is being
chosen for the right location. For example, archways and posts
need small pillar climbers not ramblers. Small flowers do not
automatically mean a small framework.
NB: If a climbing rose has
sported from a bush, then it is named with the ‘climbing’
prefix. e.g. Climbing Iceberg. A climber that does not carry the
‘climbing’ prefix means that it is a natural climber. |
